1 Delivery of goods

1.1 Delivery execution

Svarstykles.lt delivers goods through its partner UAB "DPD Lietuva". When ordering goods, the Buyer can choose one of the delivery methods provided by the partner.

1.2 Delay due to unforeseen circumstances

In exceptional cases, the delivery of goods may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Seller's control, which the Seller could not control and reasonably foresee at the time of concluding the purchase and sale agreement. In such a case, the Seller undertakes to immediately contact the Buyer and agree on the terms and conditions for the delivery of the goods.

1.3 Violation of delivery deadlines

The Seller is exempt from liability for violation of the delivery deadlines if the goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are delivered late due to the fault of third parties unrelated and/or independent of the Seller or due to circumstances beyond the control of the Buyer.

1.4 Receipt of goods

Upon receipt of the goods, the Buyer must check the condition of the shipment and the goods(s).

1.4.1 If the goods are delivered by a courier and damage to the packaging is noticed, then it is necessary to record this in the consignment transfer-acceptance document and, in the presence of the courier, draw up a free-form act of damage/inconsistencies of the consignment and/or goods(s). If the buyer signs the consignment transfer-acceptance document without recording the observed damage, it is considered that the goods have been transferred in proper condition, without damage, without any discrepancies in the configuration of the goods(s) (such as can be identified during an external inspection of the goods). draw up a free-form act of damage/inconsistencies of the consignment and/or goods(s) in the presence of the courier.

1.4.2 If the goods are delivered via a parcel machine and damage to the packaging has been noticed, then contact the DPD Lithuania customer service department at +370 5 210 6773.

1.5 Delay in collecting/receiving goods

If, in accordance with these Rules, the Buyer does not collect the goods within the specified time or fails to deliver them to the Buyer, representatives of “DPD Lietuva” will contact the Buyer regarding another time and/or method of delivery of the goods. If the Buyer still does not collect the goods or fails to deliver them, such goods are returned to the Seller, the order is canceled, and the money paid for the goods is returned to the Buyer, after deducting bank fees applied to the Seller for bank transfers made and the delivery fee for the goods, if any.

2 Home delivery of goods via courier

2.1 Delivery address

The buyer undertakes to indicate the exact delivery location of the goods and assumes all costs incurred due to an inaccurate address provided.

2.2 Receipt of goods

The Buyer undertakes to accept the goods himself. When accepting the goods, it is necessary to present a valid personal identification document (personal identity card, passport or new driver's license) and indicate the PIN code received by SMS. If the Buyer does not accept the goods himself even though the goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer, the Seller has the right to transfer the goods to another person at the address specified by the Buyer, and the Buyer has no right to make claims against the Seller regarding the delivery of the goods to the wrong person.

2.3 Delivery times

The courier will deliver the goods to you within 1-3 business days within Lithuania.

2.4 Delivery intervals

Select the delivery time interval for goods in major Lithuanian cities: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM on weekdays.

In other areas of Lithuania, goods are delivered on working days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2.5 Delivery notification

You will be informed about the estimated delivery time and the parcel number via SMS and/or e-mail. On the morning of the delivery day, you will receive an SMS with the estimated delivery time to the nearest 1 hour. You can track your parcel and change the delivery date, address or direct the parcel to a parcel machine on the website www.mydpd.lt or in the mobile application "myDPD".

2.6 Delivery to the Curonian Spit

Delivery to the Curonian Spit costs an additional 19 EUR.

2.7 Packaging damage

If you notice damage to the packaging when receiving the shipment, immediately notify the courier who delivered the shipment and draw up a package damage report.

Upon receipt of the ordered item and signing the shipping document without any comments, the shipment is considered to have been delivered properly.

2.8 Loading operations

The home delivery service fee does not include the delivery of the ordered goods/bringing them into the building. If your ordered shipment is heavier than 31.5 kg, you will have to help the courier lift it out of the car. If you would like the couriers to unload and bring the shipment into your home, order the "Order loading services" service. Price: 20 EUR.

2.9 Delivery of parcels on Saturday

Upon your request, UAB "DPD Lietuva" couriers can deliver parcels to major Lithuanian cities (Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys, Utena, Telšiai, Tauragė, Alytus, Marijampolė) on Saturdays. Price: 10 EUR.

3 Delivery of goods to parcel lockers

3.1 Weight restrictions for parcel lockers

DPD parcel lockers can be used to pick up goods weighing less than 30 kg. Goods heavier than 30 kg are not delivered to parcel lockers.

3.2 Storage period in the parcel locker

You can collect your items from a DPD parcel machine within 7 calendar days. If you do not collect your ordered items within this period, they will be returned to the seller.

3.3 Delivery time to the parcel locker

Parcels to DPD parcel lockers are delivered within 1-3 business days.

3.4 Post office opening hours

DPD parcel machines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

3.5 Notification of delivered shipment

When your shipment is delivered to a DPD parcel terminal, you will be notified via SMS and/or email.

You can track your shipment on the website www.mydpd.lt or in the mobile app "myDPD".

3.6 Opening the mailbox door

When picking up a parcel at a DPD parcel terminal, you will need to enter the PIN code received via SMS.
